Dr. Vijayalakshmi has 18 years of academic experience, beginning as a Lecturer at Meenakshi College for Women, Chennai (2001–2004), and later at St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad (2004–2005). Since 2009, she has been an Assistant Professor at St. Francis College for Women, specializing in Accounts and Finance. Her teaching experience includes 18 years at the undergraduate level (B. Com) and two years at the postgraduate level (M. Sc Finance, 2013 - 2015), with a strong emphasis on teaching, mentoring and research.

UG - Financial Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Financial Policy Management, India’s Foreign trade, Auditing, Financial Reporting and Management Accounting.
